This website was created for and by the fans of the one of the more-important music artist in the Philippines today, the one and only RNB Princess, Kyla. It is the official “meeting place”--the online palace--of the members of the KylaOnline network: people bonded by the same interest and passion for Filipino Music…Kyla's music in particular.
KYLAONLINE.NET enables fans and enthusiasts to connect directly with fellow fans in live communication environments. While the mother site, KYLAONLINE.COM is focused on providing information and updates on KYLA, the environment is more or less static.
KylaOnline.net provides an atmosphere for members to discuss a wide range of interests and topics, at any time they please. They can also exchange files, concepts, artworks and engage in dialogues with fellow members. As a bonus, Kyla drops in every once in a while to give messages and updates.

KylaOnline.Com started out as a mailing list and fansite dedicated to the Philippines' RNB Princess, KYLA.
We started out in November 2002 as a group of 12 fans, whose main objective was to communicate with each other and share information about Kyla. We used to maintain two websites, KylaOnline.com and Kyla_RnbPrincess.vze.com. We later on decided to fuse the two sites for ease of management. Since then the community has grown from 12 members to more than 1000 registered members in the forum [July 2004].
KylaOnline.Com then became the source of essential facts and trivia about Kyla: including gig schedules, as well as information on purchasing her albums. There were sections that contained Kyla profiles, album track listing and lyrics, chatroom and forum, to name a few. And while the site is fully-funded and operated by our senior members and supported by webhost, SIGURO.COM, we have enjoyed the support of Kyla and her family, by sharing with us information, photographs and exclusive trivia.
Unfortunately, our service provider encountered some technical difficulties in July of 2003. As a result, KylaOnline went out of commission for a few weeks.
In our desire to continue to provide the venue for interaction among Kyla fans, we decided to purchase another domain, KylaOnline.Net as the temporary domain for KYLAONLINE.
After careful consideration and deliberation, we decided to keep both the KYLAONLINE.COM as the main repository of essential Kyla facts and updates and KYLAONLINE.NET as the interactive arm of the group. |
